Hey you,
It’s one of those quiet, chilly nights again.
My kind of night.
The kind where thoughts get honest… and truth slips through.
Let’s talk about two words you use every single day —
without thinking.
I AM.
Not just words.
A declaration.
Because whatever follows I AM…
you start becoming.
And we throw it around so casually.
I am tired.
I am broke.
I am stressed.
I am sick.
Over and over.
Like we’re signing an agreement with it.
But the Bible flips that script.
“Let the weak say, I am strong.”
Not “wait until you feel strong.”
Not “say it when it’s true.”
Say it while you’re still weak.
Why?
Because there’s something deeper at work here.
When Moses asked who sent him, the answer wasn’t a description.
It wasn’t a title.
It was simply:
I AM THAT I AM.
That’s the name.
So every time you say I AM…
you’re not just describing your situation —
you’re aligning yourself with something.
I had to check myself on this.
I used to say, “I am exhausted.”
After every shift. Every time.
And I noticed… I stayed exhausted.
So I changed it.
I will rest well.
I am refreshed.
I have strength for this.
Simple shift.
Different outcome.
Now I rest better.
I don’t carry that same heaviness.
Not magic.
Awareness.
Start listening.
To yourself.
To people around you.
You’ll begin to see it —
people live inside the words they repeat.
So the real question is…
What are you becoming with your “I AM”?
Because those two words?
They’re not small.
They’re sacred.
Don’t use them carelessly.
I AM…
(choose wisely)
“You don’t just say ‘I AM’… you step into it.”
If this spoke to you, share it with someone who needs to watch their words a little closer.
